Farang Family contains affiliate links. When you click one and sign up or buy through it, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. That's how the site stays free.

The rule we work to: we only recommend products and services we'd use (or already do use) ourselves as an expat family in Bangkok. We won't pretend to love something for a paycheck, and we'll tell you the cons, not just the pros.

Where it matters — insurance reviews, banking comparisons, school roundups — we'll flag the affiliate relationship clearly at the top of the article, not buried in the footer.

Programs we are approved for and currently earn from: NordVPN, Saily, and Amazon Associates. Programs we have applied to but do not yet earn from: Cigna Global, SafetyWing, Wise, Booking.com, and Klook. A link on this site only pays us if the program is in the first list, and we move a name between the lists in the same change that adds or removes the link.
